Born in Tuscany, Italy in 1968, I studied Philosophy at the University of Florence and got a degree in Aesthetics with an essay on Samuel Beckett. I have been working as stage photographer for Italian and foreigner theatres, still photographer for TV and movie production. I still do all my personal and street photography with film cameras, using from 35mm to 4×5” and pinhole cameras. I am the author of the pictures for two books written by Magdalena Stopa, recently published in Poland: “Chleb po warszawsku” (ed. VEDA), and ”My, rowerzyści z Warszawy” (ed. Stopa Studio). My pictures were published in Polish magazines like Rczeczpospolita, PrzeKroj, Gazeta Wyborcza. Some of my pictures were featured in the exhibition “Eaststreet” in Lublin in 2013 and in its catalogue. My work about flea market in Warsaw was shown at the “So far, so close” exhibition during the 2014 “Cineast” film festival in Luxembourg. Since 2015, I lead the annual workshop of analog photography, darkroom techniques and visual story-telling “Photobooklet, un’esperienza narrativa” at VisiVa in Florence. In June 2017 my series “The March on Warsaw”, close-ups of the far right ONR members, was exhibited in a collective show at Dom Kultury na Jazdowie in Warsaw, and later published on the website gallery of Krytyka Polityczna. In November 2017 my photograph “Tiger Car” was included in the exhibition RoadTrip, during Warsaw Photo Days. I am a member of Pracownia Wschodnia and manager of its darkroom, where we are active in traditional silver print process. Since 2018 I teach darkroom techniques and documentary photography at Akademia Fotografii in Warsaw. I live between Florence, Italy and Warsaw, Poland.

All my images are available as FINE ART PRINTS, in archival certified quality.  The prints will have the author’s  dry stamp and a signature on the back. Please send me an email for details and prices.
